AI Scientist

Overview

We are seeking an AI Scientist to research, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI systems that deliver real-world impact. This role is defined by demonstrated capability and problem ownership rather than years of experience. The ideal candidate can move fluidly between research and implementation, learn quickly, and apply advanced techniques pragmatically.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate machine learning and AI models.

• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate on model performance.

• Translate research ideas into production-ready systems.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy AI solutions.

• Develop data pipelines, training workflows, and evaluation frameworks.

• Ensure model quality, robustness, and responsible use.

• Stay current with relevant research and apply it where it creates value.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistics.

• Experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).

• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python).

• Experience deploying models into real-world environments.

• Ability to reason about tradeoffs between accuracy, complexity, and scalability.

• Strong learning ability and adaptability.

• Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
