Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, improve, and scale manufacturing processes that deliver high-quality products reliably and efficiently. This role is defined by demonstrated capability and ownership rather than years of experience. The ideal candidate learns quickly, applies sound engineering judgment, and drives manufacturability and operational excellence in complex production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes from prototype through production.

• Improve yield, throughput, cost, and reliability through data-driven process improvements.

• Partner with design, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability.

• Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and control plans.

• Identify and resolve production issues using root cause analysis.

• Support tooling, fixtures, automation, and equipment selection.

• Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

• Support production ramp-ups and ongoing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing process development or production support.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.

• Experience with tooling, fixtures, automation, or industrial equipment.

• Understanding of quality systems, SPC, and failure analysis.

• Ability to learn new processes, materials, or technologies quickly.

• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
